Cosmopolitan en Español Beach Bash Event
As a leader in the Spanish-language fashion and beauty editorial world, Cosmopolitan en Español kicked off the summer season with its annual Beach Bash hosted by Editor-in-Chief Ana Victoria Taché at Nikki Beach Miami. Presenting sponsors included Splat, Samsara Imports and L.A. Colors Cosmetics.
Nikki Beach was the ideal location to host a beach bash, with its open beach space venue along with day beds and teepees to create a relaxing atmosphere. Aside from the fabulous location, guests were greeted pleasantly while snapping photographs in front of the Cosmopolitan Beach Bash step-and-repeat. The cocktail party was designed for fun and fearless women, featuring a Splat Hair Chalk beauty/hair bar, cosmetics application by L.A. Colors Cosmetics, and alcohol-infused cupcakes by Sweet & Tipsy.

Ever since New York Fashion Week, I’ve been swamped with projects so I have to apologize for my brief hiatus from blogging. The weather has cooled down slightly in Miami, but it’s given me a chance to pull out my fall and winter items. One of my favorite ways to build a look together is to piece various textures or materials together to create a unified outfit. For today’s outfit of the day, I paired a silk flowing dress by BCBG Maxazria along with an edgy belt to cinch it at the waist and lace tights. I added a hint of leopard print to add a bit of fringe to the overall look as well.
A new trend for the upcoming season is the black and white combination, which I am also loving right now. Therefore, I threw on a bold black and white clutch to accent the look and finish it off.
What I’m Rocking:
BCBG Maxazria silk dress
H&M tights
ASOS belt
Steve Madden clutch
Guess watch
New Video: Valentine’s Day to Night Looks
Hey lovers! For today’s blog post I have a few Valentine’s Day looks that can be transformed from day to night outfits, whether it is from work to a dinner date or a casual day followed by a night out with the girls. One of my tricks for transforming this look is to rock a romantic dress as a top during the day and then pull it down while removing the skinny jeans at night. To add some flare for the evening, I also added a glitzy blazer and some feminine jewelry as well. I also switched my heels from a neutral tone to a more vibrant color at night. Enjoy, and let me know if you try these out 🙂
What I’m Rocking in the Video:
Daytime Look
H&M peplum blazer
H&M lace dress
Target belt
F21 skinnies
H&M pumps
Evening Look
H&M lace dress
Boutique sequin blazer
ALDO pumps
Guess watch
F21 jewelry
Leather & Lace.
Hey guys! I know that it’s been awhile since my last blog post, but I was up north visiting my family for the holidays so I’ve pretty much been MIA for a few weeks on my blog and video channels. Sometimes I think we need to take a break (or maybe it’s just me) and humble ourselves, whether it’s through spending time with family and friends or simply taking a trip to get away. It was nice to spend so much time with my family and everyone was so excited to see my little man.
Despite my recent trip, I arrived back in Miami late last night and I have so many new things that I can’t wait to show ya’ll! This look of the day is really affordable, as I purchased most of the items from H&M. Surprisingly, H&M has some of the most comfortable heels! I never bought shoes from them before and the sizes run larger than US sizes, but they are the most comfortable heels I’ve ever purchased.
What I’m Rocking:
H&M peplum top
H&M faux leather shorts
H&M heels
Kate Spade bracelet
H&M belt
Boutique necklace
ALDO earrings
OOTD: Midnight Mint
Happy 2013 everyone! What did you do to ring in the New Year? This year I decided to keep it pretty low key and stayed in with my family and my little man. It’s so cold up north that I really didn’t want to step outside in the 0 degree weather either!
However, I have been enjoying being able to throw on my layered clothing as you may know already. I went out to lunch with a friend today and did a little shopping so I threw on a simple little black dress with some tights and my trench coat. There’s something about a little black dress that remains classic and can be styled so many different ways. One of my favorite trends this season is the trench coat, which is another classic for the winter season. I added a minty scarf to give the look a little pop of color as well. What are some of your favorite trends for the winter?
What I’m Rocking:
Target scarf
H&M dress
Express trench coat
H&M tights
Express belt
Steve Madden booties
OOTD: Winter Wonderland.
Hey guys, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I was blessed to be with my little man and my family for Christmas. After booking a last-minute flight home, I was completely caught off guard by this 10 degree weather. We did the usual gift opening and then we had a yummy dinner to follow. Although the weather is freezing cold, I love that I can pull out some of my winter items and layer pieces to create outfits. For today’s OOTD I added a lot of layers and kept it casual-chic. How was your holiday? If you don’t celebrate Christmas, then I hope you spent time with family and enjoyed it as much as I did.
What I’m Rocking:
Express trench
H&M blazer
Brian Atwood gloves (from the Neiman Marcus/Target collection)
Express scarf
F21 tee
7 jeans
Aldo boots (old)
On my lips: COVERGIRL Blast Flipstick in Tease
New Video: Holiday Makeup Tutorial
After a week of being sick, I finally had the energy to film a new beauty tutorial. I’m sorry for the hiatus, as I didn’t update my blog or my YouTube channel but I’m back ladies and gentlemen! I’m not quite sure if it’s the fact that my son is older now, but I have been in the holiday spirit this year and I’ve been looking forward to spending Christmas with my family and friends. Therefore, my latest video is a holiday beauty tutorial that’s perfect for a Christmas party with friends or even a family get together. It would also be great for a New Year’s glamorous look as well. Enjoy 😉

Happy Veteran’s Day everyone! For today’s OOTD post, I was going for a very polished look so I paired a peplum top with classic black leggings and a skinny belt so complete the outfit. H&M peplum top
ZARA leggings
Steve Madden heels
Express belt
Express necklace
Guess watch
H&M stud earrings
Vintage clutch
