Video: How to Transform from Summer to Fall Fashion
It’s official – the time has come to bury summer fashion. However, there are ways to transform your summer wardrobe into fall-worthy looks as well. For example, basic tees or tanks can still be worn during the fall season by adding layered pieces such as chunky sweaters or denim button-up shirts with a leather jacket. Shorts, skirts and dresses can still survive by throwing on a pair of thick tights underneath them with some tall leather boots.
The essential items can easily be transformed from season to season by simply layering and learning how to switch pieces in and out of your looks. Many people used to think that I had so many different items of clothing in my closet when I was in high school or college when I just learned how to utilize what I owned to create different looks.
Check out my new video showcasing a summer to fall transformation that I put together with Warhon Media which features pieces by Urban Outfitters, H&M, ZARA, 2B Bebe, Steve Madden, and Forever 21 :
Back to School Series: Flirty & Feminine [#3]
In continuation with my “Back to School Series,” today’s look of the day is my favorite outfit of the three in this compilation. Although I dressed like a tomboy (believe it or not) during my grade school days, my love for feminine and girlish pieces flourished as time went by. Therefore, this is the perfect “girl next door” outfit that pulls together a floral romper paired with a lightweight denim top to polish off a delicate ensemble.

Beach Cookout Chic
Summer is in full effect, along with the sweltering sweat-dripping weather. Today’s look is one of my go-to outfits for an outdoor summer BBQ or Sunday Farmer’s Market on Lincoln Road. The simplicity of rocking a bandeau top (A bra in itself? Yes please) and denim shorts gives this look a comfortably chic appeal that allows me to stay as cool as possible in Miami.
If wearing a bandeau by itself is a little too daring, throw on a sleeveless loose-fitting tank or graphic mesh top to make it a little more wearable.

Bright colors are celebrated amongst fashion bloggers and socialites in a range of pieces, as a timeless summer trend. Inspired by the vibrant aura from the 1980’s, neon tones enhance the skin’s summer glow and create a look that is radiantly confident. A delicate neon top can effortlessly be paired with some neutral high-waisted shorts and minimal accessories to pull together a standout daytime look. This particular pairing could even function as an evening look by throwing on a sexy black pump and an oversized clutch.

Spring Trend: Florals and Neon
To be honest, I rarely ever wore floral print until last year. My style has transformed to a mix of feminine yet edgy chic. Therefore, I have really embraced floral prints during the Spring and Summer seasons because they are so delicate. I also tend to wear plenty of rompers, skirts, and shorts when it’s warm out. Rompers are not only comfortable, but they can be paired with anything from blazers to a denim vest (depending on what type of romper). For today’s look of the day, I’ve paired this Urban Outfitters romper with some pink neon heels. I like the contrast of delicate prints with something a little more bold and edgy. Let me know what you think!
